John Stebbins has enjoyed over 25 years in the Private Club and Resort Industry. Most recently, John was the General Manager of Bentwater Yacht and Country Club in Montgomery, Texas. Prior to Bentwater, John was the Vice President of Operations for East West Partners Club Management. His responsibilities included overseeing clubs in Texas, Arizona, and California, improving Member satisfaction, employee retention, and achieving the clubs' financial goals.
During the 1990s and early 2000s, John spent 15 years with ClubCorp as a General Manager, Regional Food and Beverage Director, Regional Operations Manager, and the Vice President of Global People Strategy. Early in his career, he worked in the restaurant industry and has held roles as Director of Human Resources, Director of Operations, and General Manager at Rusty Pelican Restaurants, followed by Director of Operations and Corporate Director of Training at Red Robin restaurants.
John has been a guest speaker for the National Golf Course Owners Association, Golf Inc., the Northern and Southern California PGA, and the Club Managers Association of America. He has been a guest lecturer at many prominent Universities' Hospitality Departments and, prior to moving to Montgomery, Texas, was an adjunct faculty member for the Hospitality and Tourism Department at Scottsdale Community College.
John and his wife, Jill, have been married for 39 years. John felt an instant connection with the Members and employees he has met at Fort Collins Country Club. His open-door policy helps him connect with Members, enabling him to meet or exceed the expectations of the Membership by providing positive Member experiences.

Heidi studied Business and Communications at the University of Kansas before beginning a 13-year career in Event Management at the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America in Lawrence, Kansas. Heidi has experience in a broad size and scope of events including local committee meetings, executive and board of director functions across the country, an annual city-wide conference and trade show for over 15,000 attendees, and an annual three-day golf championship for over 400 golfers across five facilities.
In 2008, Heidi earned the designation of Certified Meeting Professional by the Convention Industry Council. Heidi, her husband, Drew, and son, Jackson, relocated to Fort Collins in 2013 and she shortly thereafter joined the team at Fort Collins Country Club as Event Director. A year later, Heidi transitioned into her current role as Director of Membership & Sales.

Jill started in the restaurant industry but soon fell in love with the culture, members, and family atmosphere of the private club industry. She has enjoyed over 25 years in the Private Club and Resort Industry and seeks to provide members and guests with ways to enrich their lives by enhancing their lifestyle. She has planned everything from small intimate social events to large lavish weddings and is the recipient of numerous sales awards including Star Achiever Awards, Vital Factor Team Special Achievement Awards, and Member Relations Director of the Year.
Jill holds degrees in Business Marketing and Interior Design, allowing her a fine-tuned business acumen as well as flair for designing memorable spaces. She brings to the Club a tremendous amount of experience in sales and marketing including roles as Catering Manager, Member Relations Director, Regional Director of Member Relations, and Vice President of Member Relations with ClubCorp. She also actively served on community committees and boards such as Habitat for Humanity, Breast Cancer Awareness, Network of Executive Women in Hospitality and American Society of Interior Designers.
Jill thrives on building relationships with corporate and non-profit entities in the community as well as the Members of the Club. Her life passions include her family first and foremost, tennis, champagne, snow and water skiing, golf, hiking, and cooking and entertaining at home.

Scott has over 30 years of teaching and coaching experience. During his time at Fort Collins Country Club, he has coached players of all ages and abilities including over 25 college players, 10+ high school state champions, adult and junior USTA teams and nationally ranked juniors.
Originally from Michigan, he was the high school state champion at No. 1 singles. His family was named the 2005 Tennis Family of the Year for the northern Michigan district. Scott spent his college days at Ohio University, where he won three conference titles. After finishing his collegiate career, he played professionally in the United States, Australia and Europe.
Scott has been the Director of Tennis at the Fort Collins Country Club since 1997 and is also the assistant women’s tennis coach at Colorado State University. He is a USPTA Certified P1 teaching pro.

Angie received a degree in Psychology from Colorado State University. In 2007, while attending school, she began working at Fort Collins Country Club as a banquet server. She worked for several years as the Dining Room Manager and in 2012 moved up to the business office as the Event Sales Assistant. For the past three years, Angie has held a position as Finance Director and Office Manager.

Drew grew up in Estes Park, where his grandfather practiced as a general contractor for over 40 years. He has 15 years of construction experience, as well as three degrees in political science education and environmental engineering.
Drew began working on the Grounds crew at Fort Collins Country Club in 2009. He then took over the facility maintenance in 2010 and has since undertaken such projects as overseeing construction of the new tennis and fitness building in 2014, the remodel of the Dining Room in early 2016 and built the Club’s own custom smoker.

Tristen was born in Denver, Colorado and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs with a major in Business Management with an emphasis in Professional Golf Management and a minor in Human Resources.
Before joining the team at Fort Collins Country Club in early 2016, he worked at Southern Hills Country Club, the Broadmoor Golf Club and Resort, the Masters’ Tournament, and Denver Country Club. Outside of golf, Tristen is an avid supporter of the Broncos and the University of Denver’s hockey team. He enjoys being outdoors, studying golf course architecture, spending time with his girlfriend, Leslie, and beer.

Mike Veile is a native to Colorado, born and raised in Estes Park. He has always enjoyed and participated in athletics, which influenced his decision to follow his passion in the golf industry. After graduating from Estes Park High School, he attended college in Florida, where he received his degree in turf grass management. Since then, his career has led him to work at many prestigious golf clubs, including the Estes Park Golf Course (where he started at age 13), various clubs in Florida, the Vail Golf Club, and Eagle Springs.
Mike was given the opportunity in 2007 to be employed at Fort Collins Country Club and was offered his current position as Superintendent in 2012. Upon moving to the front range from Vail, Mike found a new challenge and way to serve his community by becoming a Firefighter/EMT with the Windsor Severance Fire Protection District, becoming certified five years ago.
Mike has known his wife Erin since they were kids. Married in 2007, they now have two children: a daughter Callae and a son Braylon. Their family also includes two yellow labs, (who you may see running alongside Mike on the course) and a Puggle, named K2. Mike enjoys golfing, skiing, hunting (archery/rifle), fishing, baseball, bowling, firefighting, and anything his kids and wife are involved in.

Krista has an expansive background in Health, Wellness and Fitness and is excited to pass on her knowledge to all of the members at FCCC. Originally from North Dakota, Krista received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Strength and Conditioning from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. Her career as a trainer began at a small club in Moorhead, MN while in college.
Krista has been in Fort Collins since 2013 and comes to FCCC from Miramont Lifestyle Fitness. Krista is also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys cycling, mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, camping, snowshoeing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, you name it!
Her other hobbies include photography, traveling, and live music. It is Krista’s firm belief that accomplishments come from hard work and dedication, and that no one should deprive themselves of their own health and well-being.

Karen has a degree in Hospitality Management from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA. Her career began on the hotel side of the business and served as the General Manager of the Harley Hotel. She transitioned to the private club side as a Membership Director of Quail Hollow Country Club while raising her family. After five years, she began moving up in the ranks and was promoted to Regional Membership Director, became part of the acquisition team, and, after half a dozen acquisitions throughout the East Coast and Midwest, became the General Manager for various ClubCorp properties. If you plan on traveling, feel free to ask her any questions regarding the ClubCorp properties near your destination.
Karen moved to Colorado in 2018 to be with family and friends and is enjoying the weather, the views, and, most of all, the warm and welcoming people that reside here in Fort Collins. Outside of work, Karen enjoys swimming, biking, and running. She competes in races and is a certified spin and group fitness instructor, so you will likely see her in the Fitness Center.
